Connecting abrasive belt: as the name implies, it is an abrasive belt with which objects are connected together, also known as a flush joint abrasive belt or a butt joint abrasive belt. The application field is very wide. At present, it is mainly used for the flush joint of grinding machine and grinding wheel belts in the manufacturing processes in industries such as medical, industrial, mechanical production, logistics, automobile. The connecting abrasive belt, with its excellent quality and "strong and thin" characteristics, is widely acclaimed in the global market.
Butt (flush) joint abrasive belts have accounted for more than 90% of the abrasive belt market in developed countries. In China, the butt (flush) joint abrasive belts have accounted for more than 60% of the total production of abrasive belts, and it is increasing rapidly year by year and month by month. Compared with lap joint abrasive belts, butt (flush) joint abrasive belts have the following advantages:
(1) The process and cost of scraping the abrasive belt joint with the diamond grinding wheel are omitted, and the cost of making the abrasive belt is reduced.
(2) The service life is prolonged and the abrasive belt can run in both positive and negative directions.
(3) The joint is stronger than the lap joint, and it is not easy to disengage, which greatly reduces the accident rate.
(4) Smooth grinding, so that there is no chattering pattern on the grinding surface.
(5) The appearance is more beautiful than that of the lap joint abrasive belt, more professional, and more popular with customers!
Unidirectional fiber reinforcements in a neat arrangement are adhered to the polyester base material connected to the abrasive belt. The splicing angle of these unidirectional fiber reinforcements and the abrasive belt is in the same oblique direction, and the advantage is that the tensile strength is large, while the thickness of the abrasive belt can be kept small. RIKEN connecting abrasive belt is pre-coated with a uniform layer of thermosetting adhesive on the side with reinforcing ribs during production.
When the user uses it, as long as the isolation film is peeled off, there is no need to apply glue on the abrasive belt. Just apply glue to the edging part of the abrasive belt joint, attach the abrasive belt, and then crimp on the crimping machine. The advantage of this type of abrasive belt is that it eliminates the need for the user to apply glue on the belt and the possible unevenness of the glue application.
(1) Standard angle of fiber reinforcement: 55°, 67°, 75°.
A) If there is an R after the code of abrasive belt, it means that it is the reverse angle.
B) The applicable range of each angle is ±1°. For example, 67° abrasive belt is also suitable for abrasive belt joints with 66° and 68° chamfers. The 75° abrasive belt is also suitable for abrasive belt joints with 74° and 76° chamfers.
C) The joint cutting angle of the narrow abrasive belt is mostly 67°, and the joint cutting angle of the wide abrasive belt is mostly 75°. Other angles can also be made according to customer needs.
(2) Standard width of abrasive belt: 19 mm and 25 mm.
(3) Standard length of abrasive belt roll: 100 meters (200 meters long abrasive belt roll can also be provided according to customer needs.)
