Our History

2002: Founded as a Joint Venture

Established as a joint venture with investment from Japan’s Riken Corundum Co., Ltd. and China’s Luxin Investment Group、Zibo Zhongli Abrasives Co., Ltd., marking the beginning of the company’s development in the coated abrasives industry.

2011: Expanded Production Capacity

Completed the 8th maker line, further strengthening our manufacturing capacity for high-quality coated abrasives.

2012: Pioneered Warehouse Automation

Built one of China’s first fully automated warehouse systems in the coated abrasives industry, with a 300-container capacity, significantly improving operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.

2015: Strategic Acquisition & Expansion

Acquired Changzhou RMN Abrasives, expanding manufacturing space by approximately 430,000 sq ft (40,000 suqare meter) and strengthening our manufacturing presence in Southern China.

2022: Global Integration & Rebranding

On June 23, 2022, Zibo Riken MT Coated Abrasives Co., Ltd. and Sisha MT Coated Abrasives Co., Ltd. were acquired by Japan’s Sankyo Rikagaku Co., Ltd. Following the acquisition, the company was renamed Zibo Sankyo Rikagaku Co., Ltd., In the same year, Zibo Fuji Star Abrasives Co., Ltd. was established with investment from Zibo Sankyo Rikagaku Co., Ltd., to better serve our customers marking a new chapter in its corporate development.

Following the acquisition and corporate name change in 2022, the Company is no longer affiliated with Riken Corundum Co., Ltd.
